Spring break posts are all over social media right now. Today I picked out three of my past outfits that I feel fit the vibe of spring break. The thing is, these are all outfits I would NOT wear again.
I’m critiquing these outfits, then I’m upgrading them to how I would wear them today. One common theme is all of these outfits are WAY too bright.
Outfit #1
I don’t mind the concept of this outfit, but the style of items needs to be changed. Neutral colors instead of these bright ones, a different style of jeans other than skinny, and some different sunglasses fix this.

upgraded outfit:

Outfit details:
- Cropped tank (Wild Fable/Target)
- High-rise baggy jean (BDG/Urban Outfitters)
- Michael Kors Zena Small Convertible Chain Messenger
- Dunk low Pure Platinum ‘Wolf Grey’
- Sunglasses (Target)
Outfit #2
For my current taste, I prefer to stay away from floral prints unless it’s a lot more toned down. Aside from this outfit having too much color, it’s also missing the classic element I love from a brand like Chanel.

upgraded outfit:

Outfit details:
- Cropped tank
- Plaid skirt (thrifted)
- Coach Georgie Shoulder Bag snakeskin embossed leather indigo blue multi shoulder bag
- White sandal (Zara)
- Sunglasses (Target)
Outfit #3
This beach fit is missing that feeling of effortlessness/ease. Like the common denominator with all of these outfits, there’s too much color. It could be a lot better with a plain t-shirt instead of a graphic tee.

Outfit details:
- Cropped short-sleeve (Wild Fable/Target)
- Sweat shorts (Wild Fable/Target)
- New Balance 530s in white/beige
- Steve Madden Bwebber bag
