There are times as fashion lovers that we find ourselves giving into certain trends. For such a long time, I was so against “ballet flats” although I wore them a lot around middle school/high school.
After that, I realized they were a fashion mistake personally due to their flatness with the way my ankles look. It also didn’t help that during that time I rarely had pants that were long enough for me.
Since this style of shoe has recently been back on trend, I’ve put it off. Now I have a pair I can add in my shoe rotation that fixes the issues I would typically hate about this style:
- extra height in the back
- ankle strap
- square toe instead of round
Other details that make like these shoes are the additional straps, neutral color, and shine. Keep scrolling for an outfit example using these shoes.
