I have three easy steps to successfully wearing mules for fall.
1. Pick a color that’s fit for the season
I received these not long ago as a gift. These mules were originally purchased in 2003 from Saks off Fifth for $340. I’ve recently blogged about the color brown being on trend for the season. These brown accented mules are a great, stylish statement.
2. Let the mules do the talking, and pair them with a simple outfit
For this post, I chose a snuggly long-sleeve from Target. These jeans are my favorite BDG High-Waisted Baggy Jeans from Urban Outfitters.
3. Put it all together
Note: I believe if you are going to wear a dressy shoe, always go for some kind of lift that comes with a heel.
This outfit is also an example of how mixing together several different price points (Target, Urban Outfitters, Gucci) can work.
