It’s probably not a surprise to many, but I am on fashion TikTok.
When I’m making a blog post, I usually try to record some video of the same content.
This week, I’m sharing 3 revelations I’ve had since I started making TikToks that still help me as a beginner.
1. do it out of pure enjoyment
Posting on social media can feel so intimidating sometimes. If you’re a self-conscious person like myself, it’s best not to worry as much about the outcome. Post simply because it’s fun.
2. find an aesthetic you like
Figure out if you like talking in real-time, using voice-overs, just music playing, or a mixture. Decide how you like to edit. You might even find a favorite font to use.
3. share what you love
Inspiration to make a new video often comes when I get a new item in my closet. Whether it’s a bag, pair of shoes, sweater, ect, these things bring me a little bit of joy and excitement. Sharing things you love can just make you feel good, and we all could use more of that.
