Right now, I’m in my Sex in the City rewatch era, and this book just feels so of that time (and it is since this was written in 2000).
This vintage, chunky tell-all guide for all things beauty from British Vogue was one of the first fashion books I was gifted a few summers ago. This book covers so many subjects from fashion, makeup, skin, hair, diet, exercise, fragrance, and more. This book also features some gorgeous photography.
Several moments note how fashion in beauty go hand-in-hand. There is a section that goes through fashion by decade from the 1950s up to the millennium that I love of course.
The most surprising takeaway for me personally was the reminder of how much having a signature fragrance/scent can be a part of your personal style.
